Wild and Wise - Exploring the French Alps for Women over Fifty
This retreat invites women to shake things up and fully immerse themselves in the breathtaking beauty of the French Alps and enjoy hiking, walking, foraging, savoring local cuisine, and culture.
Curated for women in their 50s and 60s, it’s an opportunity “shake things up.” It’s the perfect opportunity to step away from the everyday, reconnect with yourself, and get out of your comfort zone.
This retreat is in collaboration with Tracey Miller, founder of Adventures Within, who creates life-changing experiences for women. From yoga retreats to rafting and snowshoeing—Tracey guides women to connect deeply with nature and themselves.
Our 50s and 60s are a rite of passage: a time to redefine, explore, and envision life’s next chapters with passion, purpose, and own the wisdom we’ve earned along the way from life’s hard lessons and blessings. Each morning Tracey will offer outdoor yoga and journaling and weave opportunities for self-reflection throughout each day.
You’ll stay in a historic 14th-century farmhouse, and begin each day with a traditional French breakfast with fresh yogurts, berries, bread and cheese, enjoy outdoor picnics and savor five-course meals each night. During the day you’ll hike/walk through the stunning Champsaur Valley and discover the Ecrins National Park, one of France’s oldest and largest national parks.
This retreat is perfect for women over 50 who are curious, adventurous, and open to new experiences. If you love the idea of exploring beautiful mountain landscapes, reconnecting with nature, and sharing the journey with like-minded women, you’ll feel right at home. Whether you’re looking to revitalise your energy, discover inspiration for your next chapter, or simply enjoy time away in a supportive and uplifting environment, this trip offers the ideal balance of adventure, connection, and relaxation.
