You Practice “Care-Free” Self-Care

Care-Free Self-Care

Your busy lifestyle makes it challenging for you to focus on your self-care every day. You have some good habits, but adding more structure to your self-care may help you feel more in control of what you eat and how you move through life. Believe in your ability to nurture and nourish yourself and please remember that when you put yourself first you will be able to better serve others. Every small step you take adds up to profound changes over time.

Some simple things you can do to add more structure to your self-care:

  1. Create a menu plan for the week to ensure healthy meals.

  2. Schedule in time in your calendar to exercise to make sure you prioritize your health. Your body needs you!

  3. Get support. Invest in a health coach or life coach to help you focus on YOU.

  4. Slow down. Be present. Take a few minutes each day to mediate, breath or just relax.

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future; concentrate the mind on the present moment.” — Buddha

Health is a journey, not a destination. We need to continue to listen, love ourselves and learn about what we need physically, spiritually and emotionally. Our bodies change as we go through different stages of our life. The most important gift we can give ourself is attention and intention.
